Well several things have happened to jump start my little home based business. I joined the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce and hung flyers at local schools, with district permission of course :)
Since the holidays are upon us, my sales have really increased. I have done 46 stockings in the last 3 days and have 8 more dropped off tomorrow. Along with the stockings, I am doing 60 bags with a logo and 47 various pieces for another company. WOW. I have have been working after my children go to sleep until around midnight. I am a little nervous though that January will be slow again. I guess we will wait and see...

First Post
If Only:
If only I had listened to everyone earlier... I needed a blog two years ago! I would like to capture my journey from Stay-At-Home Mom to Small Business Owner to remember the ups, downs, twists and turns.
History:
I grew up in Mansfield, Texas and currently reside there with my family as well. I taught school for 6 years and then decided to stay at home when my second son was born. While I love being at home with my boys, I know that I need more. So I decided to go from amatuer embroiderer to Spirit Shop owner. I am currently somewhere in the middle and am enjoying the ride!
